option 1: built around lori murphy bed
Flexibility The millwork is built around a queen size, horizontal lori-bed. A small workspace folds fown from between the bed and kitchen. The undercounter treatment behind the range/oven pivots upwards and legs fold down to make a small dining table
Kitchen The kitchen is buit with a combination of IKEA cabinetry and plywood shelves. The shelves can be built as units and should be able to drill directly into the wall wherever there are studs. In the previous iteration the shelves appeard to float.
option 2: freestanding daybed
Option 2 uses the freestanding Baldwin daybed from Pottrey Barn and simplifies the millwork along the opposite wall. A TV is mounted above the floating shelves that span the lenght of the studio.
Table/workstation pivots out from the undercounter directly behind the oven/range.
