Curves vs Straight Lines

One of the things that makes Glassybaby glass so special is its soft, organic shape which can only be created by a human in the hot-shop. When the natural curves of the glass are put against a curving counertop, they might get a bit lost. When the are contraste against straight lines, the glass will pop more. In the image to the right (my mother’s bookcase), her glassybabies are contained by straight lines. This allows us to see the differences in each one, and the curves pop so much more.
