OVENLY FLATBUSH

The Ovenly Flatbush location involved a gut-renovation of a typical storefront in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. All finishes and the storefront were removed. The rectangular space is divided in a diagonal with the counter and amazing pastries and product becoming the focus and the central organizational strategy. This diagonal cut into the space is reflected the service counter, the floor, and the ceiling. Custom fixtures from Unlikely Creatures illuminate the existing brick walls between XL plywood walls. The 3 large plywood anchor walls become spaces for a milk station, product display, and coat/umbrella storage and another way to organize the space.
